At 3/10, Serandib, Peellawata, Minuwangoda, Sri Lanka, you may find our registered office. You are presumed to have accepted these terms and conditions as well as any supplementary terms by using the website and any services it offers.
Eligibility to Have Services
To use our services, you need to be at least 18 years old or the appropriate working age in your jurisdiction. If you're over the age of 18 and are not forbidden by law, you are eligible to access the service. The services are for your personal, non-commercial use only, unless you agree to a separate agreement with us for your commercial use, as set out below or as otherwise allowed by us. We may cancel your account(s) or prohibit you from using the services.
Usage of the Website
The website and the content on it are owned by us or our third-party providers and include no copyright, database rights, or any other intellectual property rights of ours. You do not acquire any exclusive rights to such items by using the website.
You may use this website for lawful purposes only and in accordance with these terms. You agree not to violate any local, national, or international laws or regulations; infringe upon intellectual property rights; transmit harmful code, viruses, or malicious software; attempt unauthorized access to our systems or networks; use the website for fraudulent purposes or misrepresentation; collect user data without consent; and also interfere with the proper functioning of the website.
Scope of the Service
We offer a solar energy solutions service through our various platforms. We wish to support you throughout your whole project. We provide the consultation and site assessment, project approvals from CEB/LECO, solar panel installation (residential, commercial, industrial, and utility-scale), energy storage systems, off-grid, hybrid, and battery backup systems, and last but not least, maintenance and after-sales support. Furthermore, after installation, the customer should then sign an agreement with CEB/LECO for net metering, and all the documentation will be handled by Monarchy Global Solutions.
Project installation timelines are estimates and subject to factors including weather, permits, and material availability. We will make reasonable efforts to meet agreed timelines but shall not be liable for delays beyond our control.
Further, all the quotations we provide are valid for the period specified and subject to acceptance within the stated validity period, site conditions, and technical feasibility. CEB/LECO charges will be paid by the company (Monarchy), but meter box modification and relocation costs should be borne by the client.
Warranties And Guarantees
Free services and warranty concerns will be addressed after the final payment is received. The solar system is designed for units assured as per the agreement with CEB/LECO. For products such as solar panels, inverters, and equipment, carry manufacturer warranties as specified. Warranty terms vary from product to product and will be provided in writing in the project proposal and the agreement. The warranty coverage is subject to proper use, maintenance, and compliance with guidelines. Further, warranties do not cover:
- Damage from improper use, accidents, or unauthorized modifications
- Normal wear and tear
- Including floods, earthquakes, lightning, and extreme weather
- Failure to follow maintenance guidelines
We shall not be liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:
- Natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, cyclones, lightning)
- War, terrorism, civil unrest
- Government actions, strikes, or labor disputes
- Pandemics or epidemics
Limitation Of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Sri Lankan law:
- We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific service in question.
- We are not liable for losses arising from force majeure events.
All the information we shared about system performance in order to make energy production estimates is based on available data and assumptions. Further, actual performance may vary due to weather, shading, maintenance, and other factors. We do not guarantee specific energy savings or production levels.
Note: We are not liable for defects in third-party products beyond the manufacturer's warranty coverage.
Intellectual Property Rights
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, software, and design, is the property of Monarchy Global Solutions (Pvt) Ltd or its licensors and is protected by Sri Lanka law.
You may not:
- Reproduce, distribute, or publicly display our content without written permission
- Use our trademarks, logos, or branding without authorization
- Create derivative works from our content
- Reverse engineer or decompile any software
Permits and Regulatory Compliance
Project installations comply with Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB/LECO) requirements, and we obtain all the necessary permits and approvals as required. Further, project installations adhere to Sri Lankan electrical and building codes.
Clients are responsible for:
- Providing accurate property information
- Granting necessary access to premises
- Maintaining compliance with homeowner association rules (if applicable)
- Ensuring structural integrity of installation sites
Note: Grid connection approvals are subject to CEB/LECO requirements and timelines, which are beyond our control.
Safety and Maintenance
Solar systems must be operated according to provided guidelines. Customers should not attempt repairs or modifications without authorization. Regular maintenance of the project is recommended for optimal performance.
Maintenance services are available as per service agreements, and also regular inspections help ensure system longevity and safety. Failure to maintain systems may void warranties according to the agreements.
Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the website with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the website after modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and any written agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and Monarchy Global Solutions (Pvt) Ltd regarding use of the Website and services, superseding any prior agreements.
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms and Conditions without our written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
Acknowledgment
